As a child, Mitch dreamed of becoming an attorney. He worked his way through undergraduate school as a fry cook, pizza delivery man, waiter, bartender, taco salesman, drilling mud technician, tutor, warehouse worker and truck driver.  Michael Gomez is a managing attorney of the Channelview office of Jim S. Adler & Associates. He was born in Spain and moved to the United States at the age of five, where he was raised primarily in Georgia. Felipe graduated Cum Laude from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia with a double major in Political Science and Sociology. He joined the firm in 2003 as a case manager while attending Texas Wesleyan Law School, where his distinguished academic achievements earned him a place on the Dean’s List every semester in his law school career. Felipe obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2006, graduating Cum Laude, and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2007 and then the State Bar of Illinois in 2008. Felipe has handled cases for thousands of accident victims, both as an attorney and as a case manager for Jim S. Adler & Associates. Jeremy Lynds heads the mass torts division of Jim S. Adler & Associates. A native Houstonian and lifelong Texan, he is a graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, where he earned his B.B.A. in Business Analysis/Management Information Systems in 1997. As a Systems Analyst for Shell Information Technology International, Jeremy became an expert in Microsoft Access, as well as a myriad of other Microsoft applications, pursuant to his work on several crucial projects for the internationally known oil giant. In 2000, Jeremy graduated from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, earning his M.B.A. in International Business. While attending the University of Denver, Mrs. Melton interned at the Public Defenders Office, then moved to Dallas. After graduating, she began working with a small law firm that handled family law, workers compensation and personal injury cases. Mrs. Melton joined Jim S. Adler & Associates in 1996 and has been the supervisor of the pre-litigation department since then. Mrs. Melton is passionate about assisting co-workers in pursuing insurance claims on behalf of those injured. Before attending law school Hal graduated from the Harris County Sheriff’s Academy and spent several years serving Texans as a licensed peace officer. While he was a police officer Hal attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in both English and Philosophy. He then attended and graduated from the University of Houston College of Law, and upon graduation spent several years representing major product manufacturers in defense of their product liability lawsuits.
