Jim S. Adler

Jim Adler, known as THE HAMMER, is the founder of Jim S. Adler & Associates, a law firm with 12 attorneys and a professional legal support staff of more than 150. Mr. Adler practices law with full-service law offices  in Houston, Dallas, Channelview and San Antonio.

Mr. Adler has experience in automobile accidents, trucking accidents, offshore accidents, refinery accidents, construction injuries, burn injuries, brain injury cases, on-the-job accidents, slip-and-fall cases, railroad accidents, electrical accidents and all areas of personal injury practice.

Mr. Adler attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned his undergraduate degree, and the University of Texas Law School, where he earned his law degree as a Doctor of Jurisprudence.

Mr. Adler has been a TV and radio personality serving the public as the voice of victims of personal injury accidents for more than 30 years. Mr. Adler has appeared on various televison programs, radio programs, civic group panels, radio talk shows, and newspaper interviews speaking of accidents and the rights of personal injury victims. William S. Adler
Bill Adler
Bill Adler is an attorney in the principal office of Jim S. Adler & Associates in Houston. He was born in Houston and attended St. Thomas High School.
Upon graduation, Bill moved to Fort Worth where he attended college at Texas Christian University. At TCU, Bill earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Business Administration. After graduating, Bill enrolled in Oklahoma City University School of Law where he earned a degree in law. Since graduating, Bill has taken and passed the Texas Bar Exam.
 
Bill continues the Adler tradition of representing those injured in all types of accidents.  He handles both pre-suit and litigation cases. Bill is devoted to personal injury law and his devotion is reflected through a deep commitment to help victims of others’ negligence.
 
 
Daniel Knight Dinneen

Daniel “Danny” Dinneen is a trial attorney working in the Houston office of Jim S. Adler & Associates. Described by those who know him as tenacious and dependable, Mr. Dinneen is a strong advocate for his clients who refuses to settle for anything less than what they are due.
 
Before joining Jim S. Adler & Associates, Mr. Dinneen spent a number of years on the other side of the docket working for one of Houston’s largest defense firms. In that time, he gained invaluable experience representing insurance companies. Through that experience, he learned the tricks that insurance companies use, and how to defeat them. Now putting that knowledge to use for his clients, Mr. Dinneen has become a feared adversary of the insurance companies, who already know just how effective he can be.

Michael Gomez
Michael Gomez Michael Gomez is Managing Attorney for Jim S. Adler & Associates.  Michael is an aggressive trial attorney who is passionate about helping those who have been seriously injured.  He believes in the fairness of the cause and the willingness to work hard to achieve the best result.  Michael has become a force with distinction, consistently fighting for the little guy against major insurance companies.

Michael who is fluent in Spanish received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, Texas.  He received his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.  Since receiving his J.D. in 2001, Michael has practiced law on both sides of the docket.  He began his legal career handling all aspects of personal injury cases which focused on catastrophic injuries and product liability litigation.  Michael also focused his practice on the defense of medical malpractice and nursing home cases, premises liability and construction defect cases.  Michael continues to handle plaintiff-personal injury cases, currently focusing his practice on automobile and trucking accidents, premises liability and wrongful death cases.

Brenda Eden Iwuagwu
Cynthia M. Melton Brenda Eden Iwuagwu is an associate attorney in the Dallas office of Jim S. Adler & Associates. Brenda graduated from the Texas Academy of Math and Science in 2000 and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas in 2002. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Brenda began working at Allstate Insurance as a property and casualty claims adjuster, progressing her knowledge in claims by earning a Senior Claims Law Associate (SCLA) designation, and working as compliance manager and liability consultant for the Dallas claims office.

While working at Allstate, Brenda developed a passionate interest in the law and began attending law school at night. During law school, Brenda was an articles editor for The International Law Review, placed finalist for her law review comment, competed in mock trial and moot court, and volunteered for Legal Aid of Northwest Texas. Brenda interned with the litigation department at Allstate's home office in Chicago as well as the staff counsel office in Dallas, where she gained exceptionally valuable experience and firsthand knowledge of the inner workings of insurance litigation.

In 2009, Brenda received her Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, graduating cum laude, and joined Jim S. Adler & Associates in 2010. Brenda is licensed to practice law in all State Courts in the State of Texas and the Federal District Court in the Northern District of Texas.
 
Felipe Link
Felipe Link Felipe Link is a bilingual attorney in the Dallas office of Jim S. Adler & Associates. He was born in Spain and moved to the United States at the age of five, where he was raised primarily in Georgia. Felipe graduated Cum Laude from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia with a double major in Political Science and Sociology.

He joined the firm in 2003 as a case manager while attending Texas Wesleyan Law School, where his distinguished academic achievements earned him a place on the Dean’s List every semester in his law school career. Felipe obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2006, graduating Cum Laude, and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2007 and then the State Bar of Illinois in 2008. Felipe has handled cases for thousands of accident victims, both as an attorney and as a case manager for Jim S. Adler & Associates. His time with the firm has been marked by vigorous legal representation of victims and his dedication to securing a just compensation for all who have been injured through the negligence of others.

Felipe is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, and the State of Illinois.
 
Jeremy Lynds

Jeremy LyndsJeremy Lynds heads the mass torts division of Jim S. Adler & Associates. A native Houstonian and lifelong Texan, he is a graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, where he earned his B.B.A. in Business Analysis/Management Information Systems in 1997.  As a Systems Analyst for Shell Information Technology International, Jeremy became an expert in Microsoft Access, as well as a myriad of other Microsoft applications, pursuant to his work on several crucial projects for the internationally known oil giant. In 2000, Jeremy graduated from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, earning his M.B.A. in International Business.

His lifelong dream of being a lawyer became a reality when he graduated in 2005 from South Texas College of Law in Houston and began his career litigating personal injury, insurance subrogation and asbestos claims.

Debra L. Paiz

Debra L. Paiz is an associate attorney of the San Antonio office of Jim S. Adler & Associates.  She was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas.  In 1998, she moved to San Antonio and attended St. Mary’s University where she vigorously worked her way through college.  She graduated from St. Mary’s University, where she attained her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

She later attended St. Mary’s University School of Law and earned her Juris Doctorate.  While attending law school, Debra worked as an intern for San Antonio City Councilman Enrique M. Barrera.  Debra, then, worked as a case manager and associate attorney for a personal injury law firm for three years.  Upon her departure, Debra commenced working as a solo practitioner, handling family law and criminal defense cases.  In 2010, Debra joined Jim S. Adler & Associates.  She is committed to providing justice for victims who have been injured by the negligence of others.

Debra is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.  She is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.

 
Langdon 'Trey' Smith
Langdon “Trey” SmithLangdon “Trey” Smith is the senior trial attorney for Jim S. Adler & Associates in Houston  Born in South Texas, Trey graduated for the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Economics and graduated cum laude from South Texas College of Law in 1996.  While in law school Trey received many awards for academic excellence and achievement and was named to the Dean’s List several times.  He was assistant managing editor of the South Texas Law Review.

Trey’s practice has been devoted to helping victims of the negligence of others.  His first personal injury jury trial occurred while he was still in law school practicing under a third year bar card. Since that time, Trey has tried many personal injury jury trials throughout Texas.  He has handled many types of cases including aviation negligence, oil field accidents, product defects, general liability, premises liability, insurance disputes and many types of vehicular collisions.

Trey is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the Western District of Texas.
 
 
Theresa C. Snodgrass
Theresa C. Snodgrass Theresa C. Snodgrass has been a personal injury trial attorney since 1995. She joined the Jim S. Adler & Associates family in 2004 and currently works in the pre-litigation department. Theresa's impressive law school career culminated with her graduating in the top 25% of her class from South Texas College of Law in 1995. Along the way, she earned many scholastic honors, including The Order of the Lytae, and inclusion on the Dean's List for six consecutive semesters.

Theresa was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1995 and to the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas, in 1996. Her practice areas have included both the prosecution and defense of cases involving civil litigation, personal injury, commercial litigation, products liability, insurance defense and employer liability. During the first four years of her practice, Theresa championed the cause of injured parties in the prosecution of their claims against negligent individuals, organizations and insurance companies. For the next five years of her practice, Theresa primarily defended allegedly negligent individuals, organizations and insurance companies. She now exclusively represents injured parties seeking justice.
In addition, Theresa is actively involved in assisting indigent and low income individuals by providing legal representation in family law matters on a pro bono basis. Theresa has a winning trial record from twenty trials in various state courts throughout southeast Texas.

Richard A. Stucky
Richard A. Stucky Richard Stucky is the senior trial attorney for Jim S. Adler & Associates in Dallas.  He was born and raised in the Houston area.  He graduated from Abilene Christian University (BBA) in 1995 and returned to Houston, where he studied and received various financial licenses and certifications. He launched his professional career in the financial services industry by helping people achieve their financial goals.

Richard then attended South Texas College of Law.  After graduation in 2002 he began his legal career as an attorney successfully fighting for the rights of those who had been injured on the job.  Richard has proudly helped hundreds of injured workers receive workers’ compensation benefits that were wrongfully denied by insurance companies.

P. Andrew Wilbur Jr.
P Andrew Wilbur, Jr. Paul Andrew (Andy) Wilbur Jr. received his JD from South Texas College of Law in May of 1995. Andy distinguished himself through memberships on the South Texas Law Review, The Order of The Lytae and The Deans List. After successfully taking the Bar Exam early and gaining admittance to the State Bar of Texas, he joined the Jim S. Adler & Associates  law firm. Andy has worked at the firm since 1995 and has resolved thousands of cases to the satisfaction of the firm's injured clients and their families.

In 1984 Andy received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in Finance and immediately began work at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Dallas as a multi-lines claims adjuster. Andy worked in Liberty Mutual's Dallas, Houston and Las Vegas offices until 1992, when he entered law school in Houston. Throughout his adjusting career, Andy gained valuable experience in how claims departments operate. With this knowledge, Andy is able to minimize the frustration of injured victims and maximize recovery for clients and their families.
