Mitchell L. Ginsburg
Mitchell L. Ginsburg Mitchell "Mitch" Ginsburg is managing attorney of the San Antonio office of Jim S. Adler & Associates. He considers himself a modern-day Robin Hood, using the courts to help those needing legal assistance to seek justice from a system that is unfairly skewed in favor of big insurance companies.

As a child, Mitch dreamed of becoming an attorney. He worked his way through undergraduate school as a fry cook, pizza delivery man, waiter, bartender, taco salesman, drilling mud technician, tutor, warehouse worker and truck driver. His efforts paid off as he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988.

In 1991, Mitch enrolled in the South Texas College of Law in Houston, where he became a valued member of the South Texas Law Review. Mitch also attended the Institute on World Legal Problems in Innsbruck, Austria, where he received instruction from U.S. Supreme Court Justice, Antonin Scalia. After multiple semesters on the Dean's List, Mitch earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law, graduating with cum laude honors.

After taking the bar exam, Mitch was involved in a tragic boating accident. In the accident, Mitch fractured his back, immediately suffering temporary paralysis and not knowing if he would ever walk again. However, Mitch soon regained the feeling in his arms and legs, but was required to wear a back brace for approximately six months. This traumatic injury would forever change Mitch's focus on life and would be the catalyst for his decision to become a plaintiff's personal injury trial attorney.

Following the boating accident, Mitch filed an injury claim with State Farm Insurance. State Farm offered to pay $1,000.00 under the Medical Payments Coverage, but denied his liability claim. Mitch was unable to work as a result of his injuries. Considering the fact that his medical bills were substantially higher than $1,000.00, Mitch had some very tough decisions to make. Agonizing about his choices, with his medical bills unpaid, Mitch was forced to file suit. After a long and hard fought battle ensued, State Farm eventually paid the claim.

Because of the resistance Mitch received from State Farm in handling his own claim, he decided to dedicate his life to representing injured parties in their claims against the big insurance companies. From that day forward, Mitch has exclusively represented injury victims against big insurance and big business.

Mitch's first job as an attorney was with The Law Offices of Robert A. Lynch in Houston, Texas. In 1997, Mitch took an attorney position at Jamison & Associates. In early 2001, Mitch took a position at Jim S. Adler & Associates. In 2004, Mitch was promoted to the position of Lead Trial Counsel. Mitch is also the supervising attorney for our mass torts department.

Mitch is licensed to practice law in all State Courts in the State of Texas and in the Federal District Court in the Southern District of Texas. Mitch is a member of the Houston Bar Association, Houston Trial Lawyers Association, and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
