Imagine Jim Adler, the tough, smart lawyer dressed up as The Chocolate Factory’s Willie Wonka for the amusement of hospitalized children. Or, wearing flashing bunny ears to make them laugh. Or parading through hospital leading a Mardi Gras parade.

“I like to see the smiles on those little faces. I like to know that even if it’s for a moment, I made them forget their pain,” says The Texas Hammer. “I want them to have a childhood like other kids. So I do silly stuff to make them laugh.”
