Jim Adler is an ardent supporter of the Safe Kids mission

Safe Kids Worldwide was founded in 1987 by Children’s Medical Center in Washington, D.C. to combat the major killer of kids under the age of 14 – preventable accidents. The organization has grown to 450 Safe Kids coalitions in 16 countries. The lead members of Safe Kids coalitions are the top rated pediatric hospitals in every city or region where this outstanding non-profit organization operates.

There are 11 Safe Kids coalitions in Texas. According to Safe Kids Greater Houston, each year one out of every four children needs medical attention for an accidental injury.

Jim S. Adler & Associates tells the story of the Houston coalition in a video created by his firm pro bono to assist SKGH with fund-raising and creating public awareness about the potentially fatal situations that children face every day from swimming pools, bathtubs, bodies of water, fires, car accidents and pedestrian and bike accidents. Tragically, many parents are unaware of these dangers.
