On Saturday November 11th, 2006 over 225 people gathered at San Antonio's beautiful Trinity University to participate in MADD Strides for Change event.  This was the 2nd year for San Antonio to participate in Strides for Change with the city's own walk.  The walk raised over $24,000 for Mothers Against Drunk Driving.  For a second year event this was a fantastic turnout.  Every year MADD hopes to see this event get bigger and better.

Jim Adler & Associates was the proud sponsor of The Texas Hammer Law Enforcement BBQ Cook Off.  Mr. Adler and Mitch Ginsburg of Jim Adler & Associates took great care and meticulously selected the best of the bar-be-que of the day.  After much deliberation the winner was Security One's Vincent Leza.  All the participants in the cook off went above and beyond to make the very best tasting and looking bar-be-que.  However in the end there could only be one winner and Vincent Leza walked away with the $500 prize and the plaque.

All in all it was a cold, but beautiful day for MADD and Jim S. Adler & Associates in San Antonio.  Our San Antonio employees came out and participated by helping to pass out information and special items to everyone that attended the walk.  The day ended beautifully and everyone had a wonderful time knowing that we helped support Mothers Against Drunk Driving and their efforts to save lives.
