 This summer (2005) had a special request from Cindy Bennett, a client whose daughter, Jennifer, had been tragically killed by a drunk driver almost a year ago. Ms. Bennett's youngest daughter Vanessa, age 9, is a member of The Glens Dolphins Swim Club in west Houston. Vanessa called and asked if Jim Adler & Associates could help her swim team. It was the end of the season and they did not have enough money to get the kids their trophies for the end of the summer party and awards ceremony. For over 30 years, The Glens Dolphins Swim Club has been providing an affordable recreational swim program which strengthens swimming skills, promotes good sportsmanship and provides lots of fun for its members.
This year the team had 88 members, all boys and girls between the ages of four and 18 and the team did well, winning 2 meets, almost winning 2 meets and sending six swimmers to All Stars. In the words of the swim club president, "Mr. Adler and the law firm are greatly appreciated and needed, an answer to our prayers." With a small donation we were able to help these kids and provide them with their must-deserved trophies. At the awards ceremony they presented us with a thank you plaque and had a banner thanking Jim Adler " Associates for the donation. It was a great party with the three major party "p's".pizza, pool, and presents! Please look in the lobbies of all the offices in the next couple of weeks for the photos and the thank you cards.
