Shriners Hospital for Children Gets the Golden Ticket from Jim S. Adler & Associates Willy Wonka personally delivered his famous Wonka Bars to orthopedic patients to begin the Halloween festivities at Shriners Hospital for Children in Houston on Monday, October 23. The special surprise was organized by the Law Firm of Jim Adler and Associates, which hosted a pre-Halloween celebration in the Hospital’s physical therapy department. Jim Adler dressed up as Willy Wonka and others from his Law Firm served as supporting Oompa Loompas. The group teamed up with patients for pumpkin bowling by knocking down plastic pins with real pumpkins. Children also enjoyed having their face painted and sinking beanbags into pumpkins. “The Willy Wonka party was a big success with our patients, who enjoyed celebrating Halloween with the Law Firm of Jim Adler and Associates,” said Steve Reiter, administrator of Shriners Hospital. “They provided a fun and festive atmosphere that brightened the day for our children.” Shriners Hospitals for Children-Houston provides quality medical care free of charge to children with orthopedic conditions that affect the bones, joints and muscles.
