Langdon “Trey” Smith is the senior trial attorney for Jim S. Adler & Associates in Houston  Born in South Texas, Trey graduated for the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Economics and graduated cum laude from South Texas College of Law in 1996.  While in law school Trey received many awards for academic excellence and achievement and was named to the Dean’s List several times.  He was assistant managing editor of the South Texas Law Review.

Trey’s practice has been devoted to helping victims of the negligence of others.  His first personal injury jury trial occurred while he was still in law school practicing under a third year bar card. Since that time, Trey has tried many personal injury jury trials throughout Texas.  He has handled many types of cases including aviation negligence, oil field accidents, product defects, general liability, premises liability, insurance disputes and many types of vehicular collisions.

Trey is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the Western District of Texas.
