Born and raised in the Texas Hill Country, Chelsea Redding was daughter of the Sheriff of Bandera County, whose “fight for justice led me into the legal field.”
She also learned the importance of hard work, dedication and loyalty. Today those traits extend not only through her familial and work relationships, but also through the relationships she shares with her clients as an associate attorney in the Dallas office of Jim Adler & Associates.
Her loyalty, dedication and hard work for clients is vital, she believes, since many people without legal experience “are taken advantage of by an insurance company or a corporation which sees them only as a number.”
Chelsea sees them differently: as people who need her help to gain the payments they legally deserve after an injury caused by another’s negligence.
“I strive to get to know clients on a personal level, which I think contributes to higher settlements and happier clients,” Chelsea says. “I’m able to empathize with clients, which makes me a very effective negotiator on their behalf.”
That means standing up to insurance companies which try not to pay for her clients’ medical bills or accept liability even when their insured is clearly at fault.
Chelsea’s devotion, drive, competitive edge and passion for justice have resulted in many favorable outcomes for clients she’s represented while negotiating settlements and developing cases in pre-litigation.
“When clients have severe injuries, I want to ensure their bills are paid and they also still get money for the pain and suffering resulting from an accident,” she says.
After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Texas Tech University, Chelsea earned her law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. In law school she was a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honors Fraternity and the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
Chelsea is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and in the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. For the year 2015 she received the Award of Excellence for exemplary results and outstanding achievements at Jim Adler & Associates.
She also received the Legal Practice Jurisprudence Award for her outstanding legal writing and research and the Jurisprudence Award for her volunteer work in the Innocence Project of Texas.
Chelsea’s favorite lawyer movies are My Cousin Vinny, A Few Good Men and The Lincoln Lawyer. Her favorite lawyer quote is Abraham Lincoln’s “A lawyer’s time and advice are his stock in trade.” She believes a lawyer’s “main priority is to advise clients in accordance with the clients’ best interests in difficult situations.”
A member of Compass Church in Colleyville, Chelsea married a former minor league baseball player in October of 2015. She has a Boston Terrier and enjoys working out, participating in mud runs and attending sporting events.
