My Accident with a Toyota stuck accelerator.
I was driving home from my job on my 2005 Toyota Tacoma on April of 2006. I was going about 20 to 25 miles an hour I push the pedal to get more speed. “Well I got more speed than I could handle”. I push the brakes to slow down or to stop the truck when I realize I could not stop my truck the petal was stuck and did not what was happening I press the accelerator couple of time trying to unstuck the pedal but it was impossible then I push the brake pedal as hard I could but it was so much power coming out of that engine that I realized it was impossible to stop . I start screaming oh god oh god not like this , I had to use all my trucking driving skills of 15 years of experience to maneuver this car if wanna to live. The truck went from 25 miles to 75 to almost 90 in about 5 second I was going desperate crazy trying to stop this car. on my desperate way out trying to stop this car I run the red light I went into the incoming traffic about 35 to 40 miles an hour . I hit the sidewalk run over the steel chain fence coming almost into the bridge and then my truck airborne into the woods area and keep running about 500 feet . Finally my truck stop on the mud terrain with the engine still accelerated top the max speed. I almost got self kill because of stuck accelerator
(I have bruise on my arms back neck pain.
Now I’m suffering panic attack nightmares head age neck paint back paint eyes problems ever since
As an ex Toyota owner I would like to know my rights?
