An SUV rollover attorney can help

One in four people who die in auto crashes die in an SUV rollover accident. That figure is estimated by the federal government, which shows that rollover accidents are likely to cause injury or even death.

In recent years, rollover accidents have been the fastest growing source of fatalities when it comes to auto accidents. In fact, they caused almost 82% of the increase in fatalities in auto accidents last year.

While other vehicles also are prone to rollovers, the SUV, or sport utility vehicle, has the highest rate of rollovers. This is due to design flaws made by the manufacturers, whose negligence makes them liable for SUV rollover fatalities.

An Adler SUV rollover attorney knows the score

In recent years, more than 25 percent of new cars sold in the United States have been SUVs. Ironically, many people who purchase SUVs think they are safer than smaller vehicles. But statistics indicate otherwise.

Many such vehicles have limited roof protection. Their roof tends to collapse due to lack of adequate structural side support, and this increases the chance of a head injury. Most SUV manufacturers have failed to address this problem

If you or a loved one has suffered in an SUV rollover accident, an SUV rollover attorney with Jim S. Adler & Associates can help. He or she can help you to file a lawsuit against the SUV manufacturer and get you just and fair compensation for your damages and suffering. That’s largely because SUV design defects are rampant, leading to thousands of accidents

An SUV rollover lawyer will review the situation and find out what exactly caused the rollover, and then will seek suitable compensation. Since different factors come under different sets of rules and regulations, the SUV rollover lawyer will help you to get the maximum compensation for each case.

So far the federal government has not delivered sufficient performance standards that require SUVs to be improved and their risk of rollovers to be reduced. Even so, SUVs, by design, are causing many Americans to be injured and to die.

Get help from an SUV rollover attorney

Your SUV rollover attorney is aware of such shortcomings and can use them to prove that the vehicle was unsafe, and thus prove that the manufacturer was at fault. This bolsters your case and makes it possible for you to get compensation from the company. Learn more via the News and Views blog.

SUV rollover accident ends in $61 million settlement

By Megan Conley

The Ford Motor Company has been ordered by a Florida jury to pay $61 million to the family of a young boy killed in a rollover accident in 1997.  Although Ford does plan to appeal the ruling this is a major hit for the Ford Explorer which has come under criticism in the past due to roll-over accidents.  In states such as Texas, where so many people drive SUV’s for farming, weather related and even routine reasons these rollover incidents occur frequently and usually end in catastrophe.  When asked about the high number of rollover accidents, especially in his state of Texas, attorney Jim Adler said, “Let’s hope that the days of SUV rollovers will soon end as manufacturers strive to make these very popular vehicles safer.”
