Kristin Suniga knows what it means to be in desperate need, as many people are after being injured in an auto accident. Now a lawyer for Jim Adler & Associates’ Channelview office, she previously worked for six years as an emergency room nurse in a high-volume Level II trauma center.
“There, I developed a true passion and desire to help people in their most desperate time of need,” Kristin says. “I pursued law school seeking a way to further assist individuals and their families who have been seriously injured due to the negligence of others.”
Born and raised in Lubbock, Kristin now helps Adler clients in dealing with personal injury, pharmaceutical liability and products liability cases — “any area where I am able to add the greatest value to a case with the use of my nursing background and expertise,” she says.
Her duties for the Adler law firm involve personal injury cases in pre-litigation, a stage at which many cases are settled in clients’ behalf out of court. In doing so, Kristin enjoys “being in the position to guide clients and aid in their navigation of difficult situations.”
After earning a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree (summa cum laude) from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech University School of Law.
She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, American Association for Justice and Texas Young Lawyers Association and has been admitted to practice in United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. She also is a Licensed Registered Nurse by Texas Board of Nursing.
As a personal injury lawyer for Jim Adler & Associates, Kristin calls it her “greatest honor and responsibility to seek justice and champion the cause of those who deserve redress for their injuries.”
When not fighting for clients, Kristin enjoys Texas Tech football, traveling the world and enjoying time with her husband, Noel, and their infant daughter.
