Attorney Nick Morrell is passionate about representing people in America’s justice system, whoever they may be. “Whether you’re a rich person or a poor person, whether you’re a well-educated person or a person who has trouble understanding English, you should be treated equally under the law and have your rights respected,” Nick believes.
As a litigation and briefing attorney in the San Antonio office of Jim Adler & Associates, Nick puts that belief to work for the firm’s clients. He does so by composing and arguing the motions and legal bases for the lawsuits the firm brings on behalf of clients.
Raised in San Antonio, Nick long “relished the idea of arguing in a courtroom and fighting for justice and citizens’ rights. I have always believed in the principles of the Constitution.”
As an attorney, he likes “taking people’s actual problems and helping them to get those problems recognized and addressed by the justice system and the powerful.”
At a previous firm, Nick worked on cases involving the estate of the late singer Selena of Corpus Christi. He also worked to obtain a grant of asylum for a Syrian refugee who was fleeing death at the hands of the Assad regime.
Nick graduated magna cum laude from Brown University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history and another in Egyptology. He earned his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law, where he graduated with honors in 2012.
Nick is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association. He also is a board member of the American Constitution Society.
