Rory McAnelly

As a briefing attorney in the Dallas office of Jim Adler & Associates, Rory wants to “use every tool the law offers that can help clients receive justice for the pain they have suffered.”

Born in Houston, he moved to Dallas when he was 5 years old. Though he traveled extensively as a child, he never found a reason to leave.

After earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, Rory attended and received a law degree from Southern Methodist University – Dedman School of Law. In law school he interned with defense firms before realizing that the work he was doing left him feeling empty and dissatisfied.

“Rather than try to meet in the middle, we were always trying to find ways to reduce injury claims below a fair amount, no matter how underhanded.”

Soon after law school he began working at Jim Adler & Associates, applying the experience he had from his defense internships to protect injured clients from shady practices and fight for their right to just compensation.

In his spare time, Rory enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
