A litigator in the Dallas office of Jim Adler & Associates, Daniel Moran is “passionate about fighting for my clients to get the result they deserve.”
Daniel takes pride in his preparation and in his calm demeanor in court.
“You never want your client, opposing counsel or a judge to believe you are rattled in any way. The key to this is being prepared and running through every scenario you can imagine before any courtroom litigation begins.”
Formerly a criminal defense attorney for three years, Daniel wants the personal injury clients of Jim Adler & Associates to know that he zealously fights for their case at every turn, often in lawsuits to recover medical expenses after they were injured.
He finds cases most rewarding when he can “see the difference my work made, such as for a mother who gets her child’s medical bills paid and gains peace of mind financially.
“I never want to make someone’s life more complicated,” Daniel says, “so the cases where I had even a small hand in making someone’s life better mean a lot to me. If a client is down on their luck, I like using my skills to improve a part of their life through the legal system.”
Born in Foxboro, MA, and raised there until his family moved to Austin when he was 12, Daniel earned his bachelor’s degree in management from St. Edward’s University in Austin and his law degree from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law) in Fort Worth.
He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Trial Lawyers Association and American Bar Association and was named a 2015 National Trial Lawyer’s Association Top 40 Under 40. His favorite legal movie is 2007’s Michael Clayton.
Married to his high school sweetheart, Daniel has two children, aged 3 and 1, and two “lazy” Pug dogs. He enjoys running, spending time with his kids and being a diehard Boston sports fan.
