Paul Sembera believes there are three types of lawyers: proactive lawyers who make things happen, passive lawyers who watch things happen and lawyers who ask, “What happened?”
Paul prides himself on being the first type of lawyer — a lawyer who makes things happen for his
clients at the Houston office of Jim Adler & Associates, where he’s an associate attorney.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Paul began his legal career in the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. There, he developed a desire to help Texans who’d been wrongfully harmed by others.
He also worked as a litigation attorney at an insurance defense firm in Houston, gaining first-hand experience in how insurance companies operate in personal injury cases. Now he uses that experience to help the other side — injury victims who have turned to Jim Adler & Associates for help.
Paul earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law. An avid fan of the University of Texas Longhorns and Chelsea Football Club, he enjoys cooking, running, playing soccer and spending time with his two nephews and his dog.
Paul is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Houston Young Lawyers Association and Texas Exes.
