Angie Boone
Angie Boone’s parents told her she’d make a good lawyer when she argued with them as a child. Now she’s proving them right.
Having joined Jim Adler & Associates in April of 2013, Angie is a pre-litigation attorney in the firm’s Houston office. But today it’s not about enjoying an argument. “The older I got, the more I wanted to become an attorney to help people,” Angie says.
For Jim Adler & Associates she does so by working hard to settle cases for her clients – often serious cases which may involve death or severe injury.
“Most of our automobile clients face liability issues, and we have to fight to get the insurance companies to accept liability,” she says. “With liability still pending, some clients cannot get their vehicle fixed and do not have transportation, so it’s very important to help them become whole again and put their life back together after it was turned upside down by someone else.”
Angie also helps four-legged friends. She volunteers at an area animal shelter and is a volunteer and foster with Boston Terrier Rescue of Greater Houston. She and her husband have five rescue dogs, a rescue guinea pig and an adopted cat found outside the firm’s Channelview office.
The couple had dated since high school and wed after Angie finished Arizona Summit Law School, earning a Juris Doctorate degree, having also earned a Bachelor’s degree in political science from Lamar University. They are from Beaumont and often visit family there.
Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, Angie is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Houston Trial Lawyers Association and Houston Young Lawyers.
