Andrew J. McLendon is an Associate Litigation Attorney at our firm, known for his sharp legal acumen and dedication to advocating for those harmed by others. His journey into law is rooted in a lifelong passion for understanding and applying rules, a trait that has been evident since his childhood.

Andrew’s academic credentials are impressive. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2016 with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Legal Studies. He then pursued his Doctor of Jurisprudence at South Texas College of Law – Houston, graduating Cum Laude in 2020. Andrew’s commitment to his field is further highlighted by his licensure to practice law in both Texas and Illinois.

The genesis of Andrew’s career in law can be traced back to his childhood, where he often found himself advocating against his parents’ rules. This early inclination towards understanding and negotiating rules laid the foundation for his legal career. His decision to attend law school was driven by a desire to help those wronged by others, a principle he continues to uphold in his current role at Jim S. Adler and Associates, where he focuses on assisting victims of negligent drivers.

Andrew’s professional journey began with a clerkship at the 295th Civil District Court during law school. Post-graduation, he joined a Chicago-based firm specializing in cases related to asbestos and mesothelioma, marking the start of his professional career in May 2020.

His notable achievements include receiving the Outstanding Oral Advocate award in the 2019 Spurgeon Bell Moot Court competition and graduating with honors from South Texas College of Law – Houston.

Outside the courtroom, Andrew leads an active and diverse life. He is passionate about physical fitness, often found working out at the gym, running, or biking. His culinary adventures involve trying new foods and restaurants, reflecting his zest for exploring diverse cultures and cuisines.
