A heavy truck failed to control its speed on the interstate and set off a multi-car pileup, tangling together a half-dozen vehicles in a knotted mess. Trapped in the middle of it was our innocent client, who woke up in a hospital fighting for her life. She had suffered massive injuries – fractured vertebrae and ribs, a torn aorta, and a partially collapsed lung – that ultimately kept her in the hospital for a month and required multiple surgeries to repair.
